Filmdoom: The Best of Fireproof

Wow. I've got to get my meathooks on a copy of Fireproof. Hopefully this 5 minute video is just the tip of the iceberg of doom.

Apparently Kirk Cameron of Growing Pains fame plays a firefighter with a penchant for abusing his co-workers, staring at internet porn all day, ignoring his wife and hitting things with a baseball bat. Judging by these clips, it's a work of insane genius that I, for one, cannot wait to see.
"..the folks at Sherwood Baptist Church have made their most impressive movie yet." - Christianity Today

"This was made for elderly folk who watch Oprah and Dr. Phil and only see 2 movies a year." - Sin Magazine

"People like Kirk Cameron apparently require Scriptural instruction about how to not act like a complete **** to your wife." - Philadelphia Weekly

"The writing and directing Kendrick brothers, Alex and Stephen, have raised blandness and narrative predictability to the level of high art." - Austin Chronicle

"Kirk Cameron, a Christian evangelist, refuses to kiss any woman other than his wife. To film a scene in which his character in this movie kisses his wife, the filmmakers had to dress Cameron's real-life wife, Chelsea Noble, as the wife character (played throughout the rest of the movie by Erin Bethea) and shoot the kissing scene in shadow so the difference between Noble and Bethea would not be as evident on screen."

Very much the opposite of Mike Seaver, Kirk Cameron seems like a seriously unfun mofo.
